He is also one of the top auctioneers in the nation. In 2005, he was crowned Texas State Champion Auctioneer. Tim ranked in the top fifteen finalists at the International Auctioneer Championship, which is held in conjunction with the National Auctioneers Association Convention, four times. Tim has traveled a five state area since 1982, and has performed more than 7500 auction sales during that time. He has a people oriented personality and has the natural ability of keeping the crowd engaged in the bidding process. He is specialized in antiques, collectibles, and personal property, and has auctioned at estate sales, farm sales, and real estate sales. Tim entered the auto auction industry selling factory automobile inventories for GM, Ford, and Chrysler, and classic cars at the Branson Classic Auto Sale. Capitalizing on his auction and people skills, Tim achieved the rank of celebrity by becoming a team member of the Barrett Jackson Collector Car Auction, with extensive televised coverage on Speed TV. Being bighearted and compassionate, Tim is recognized as the expert in benefit and charity auctions. Generating excitement and generosity, he has conducted charity auctions for clients such as the National Rifle Association (NRA), The March of Dimes, Special Olympics, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Quail Unlimited, United Way, Children's Miracle Network, Make A Wish Foundation, Adult Literacy Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House, The High Plains Historical Society, Western Heritage, Cattle Baron’s Ball, Cancer Society, Safari International, Multiple-Sclerosis Society and many, many, others. Tim received his Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Animal Science and a minor in Psychology from West Texas A & M University in 1975. After graduation and prior to joining the auction profession, he became involved in selling agricultural and heavy equipment. His experience in this area provides him with full knowledge of the value, supply and demand, and personnel in these product fields.
