Texas Panhandle Auctions
Assiter Auctioneers is based in Canyon, Texas — right in the heart of the Panhandle — and has run live and online auctions across the region for more than 45 years.
Auctioneers Serving Amarillo and the Surrounding Panhandle
From our headquarters at 16650 Interstate 27 in Canyon, we've spent over four decades conducting auctions throughout the Texas Panhandle — Amarillo, Canyon, Hereford, Dumas, Pampa, Borger, Dalhart, Plainview, and the smaller farming and ranching communities in between. Whether it's a farm equipment consignment sale, a ranch property, or a full estate liquidation, our team knows this region because we live and work here.
What We Auction in the Panhandle
Panhandle auctions through Assiter typically fall into a few categories:
- Farm & ranch equipment — tractors, implements, trailers, irrigation equipment, and ag machinery, often tied to our twice-yearly Heavy Equipment auctions.
- Land and ranch real estate — cropland, grazing land, and rural residential properties across the region.
- Estate and personal property — full estate liquidations for Panhandle families, often combining household items, tools, and vehicles in one sale.
- Collector vehicles and firearms — a smaller but steady share of our Panhandle-area consignments.
Why Sell at Auction in the Panhandle
The Panhandle's buyer pool is smaller and more specialized than a major metro, which is exactly why the auction method works well here — it puts your equipment, land, or estate in front of the serious regional buyers who are actually in the market, rather than relying on a single local listing to find the right one. We combine on-site and online bidding so Panhandle sellers reach both local buyers and our nationwide bidder base.
Areas We Serve
